Mobile Cinemas
The UK Film Council recently started to announce a scheme of providing money for digital mobile cinemas. But this is not a new concept as cinema has always had a history of being mobile. Right from the very first piorneering days people took cinema shows to fairs and the like to demonstrate to people. During the World Wars the services had cinemas with them where ever their were troops. What is now happening is that the technology being used is being brought up to date. This is only a very very brief introduction to Mobile Cinemas and is an area which I would like to expand on over time.
